Many times the behaviors that impede school success have been established long before the student walked through the school doors. This presentation will discuss how to create an improving set of conditions so that the student and the school personnel can have the success they desire. This presentation will cover the topics of how to predict the probability of success of a demand, how to modify the demand once it has been given based on precursors, what demand to give based on precursors, how to pair yourself with the most difficult students, tricks and tips to solve an impending situation, how to do a quick preference assessment, how to move the goal posts once the behavior has been stabilized and why all this matters to have daily calm and peace in the classroom.
