Learn critical yet simple steps to aid a victim in a traumatic event. This curriculum is a component to the FEMA Until Help Arrives. The Stop-the-Bleed Kitsap Campaign teaches the student the basics to provide their neighbors, students, family members with life saving steps primarily in the areas of hemorrhage control.
The cadre for this program will be made up of subject matter experts and local emergency service personnel that will educate the student and assist with practical applications.
Often times citizens fail to provide assistance because they don't know what to do. This course empowers the student to act in critical situations that could save lives. The student will walk away from this course feeling better prepared and ready to act if such a situation ever occurred.
