Have you heard of Kylene Beers and Bob Probst? They are the authors of the close reading books called Notice and Note. There is one for fiction and nonfiction. We will break down the reading strategies that you can teach to your students in order to get them thinking more deeply about text. You will walk away with knowing what the strategies are and a take away resource we will make while in the class.
