Learn how the fourth grade team at Armin Jahr has combined the language acquisition and writing strategies used in GLAD units with the inquiry based practices from our FOSS kits. We will explore how to utilize big books, pictorial input charts, observation charts, scouts, expert groups and more through GLAD as well as utilizing the exploratory aspects of FOSS with Science Interactive notebooks, investigations and more.
