John Norlin holds a Master’s degree in Organizational Leadership from Gonzaga University. He is the Program Administrator for the Whole Child and Director of Student Leadership and Community Involvement for the Sumner School District in Sumner, Washington, the Owner of Norlin Consulting, and Co-Founder of CharacterStrong with Houston Kraft. John is also the Director for the AWSP Sponsored Mount Adams High School Leadership Camp each summer in Washington State.

People have recognized the amazing influence of John Norlin. Amongst his many awards and recognition he was the 2014 WASA Community Leadership Award recipient. He was the 2011 WACA High School Student Leadership Activities Adviser of the year. In 2009, he was recognized by WSASCD as the Washington Outstanding Young Educator of the year, and in 2007 the community of Sumner awarded John with the Community Impact & Unsung Hero Award.
